A new truck is in town and its all about the burgers and nuts. The Dos Lokos Burgers Nuts Truck owned by Carlos Loko and Josh Loko. It opened on December 10. The two guys thought cruising around Miami selling beef would be much more fun than working the average job.
“We decided to open the truck because, to be honest, a 9-5 office job sucks,” says Carlos. “Also, we both have a profound love for cooking and serving customers.” They also noticed an “increasing number of mobile food trucks, but we knew that none of them could compare to the great service and special menu we could bring to Miami,” he adds.
The menu is a mix of Venezuelan style beef and chicken like the Super-Loko Burger made with ham and cheese, bacon, eggs, avocado, potato sticks, lettuce, tomato, onions and a “secret sauce,” $6. All items are served with shelled peanuts and a drink.
So if you’re jonesing for a burger, you can find these crazy guys downtown at the Heat games, baseball parks and along SW 40th Street (Bird Road) and 67th Avenue. You can always follow them on Facebook and& Twitter ;to get up to date location information.
