Michael Gilligan has left his executive chef position at Atrio/Level 25 at the Conrad Hotel to become executive chef at the W Hotel in South Beach. Besides managing culinary affairs for the property in general, Gilligan will be overseeing Solea, the condo hotel restaurant described as “Mediterranean with strong Spanish influences”.
The W will also host, as a separate entity, the acclaimed Mr. Chow, which in 1974 premiered in Beverly HIlls and has since sizzled its’ way into New York, London, Las Vegas, etc. We eagerly await, chopsticks in hand.
