Rose Cafe, the Sunny Isles spot renowned for its Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and pink-accented charm, is undergoing its first evolution since opening. This popular pink-hued café has just rebranded as Rose Cafe & Restaurant, adding a full bar and romantic dinner service to its all-day lineup — and locals are excited.
Founded by philanthropist Alexandra Milton and business partner Sebastian Garaviz, Rose Cafe opened during the pandemic as a daytime restaurant focused on nutritional nourishment and comfort. The original café built a following for its cooking philosophy that avoids refined oils and processed sugars. Now, the same approach carries into a dinner menu built around balance and flavor — but expect bold dishes, as well.

What’s on The Expanded Breakfast and Dinner Menus
Breakfast still centers on pastries and light plates, such as avocado tartines, truffle hollandaise Benedicts, and croissants filled with prosciutto, smoked salmon, or eggs. Yogurt parfaits, overnight oats, and fruit platters round out the early hours.
Lunch offers Mediterranean classics, such as veal with tuna-caper sauce, fig carpaccio with prosciutto and stracciatella, and burrata with Parma ham, alongside salads and handmade pastas like slow-cooked beef ragù tagliatelle and rigatoni with Pecorino Romano and black pepper.
Now here’s the exciting part — dinner expands the menu into the evening. Starters include a selection of Mediterranean dips, steamed octopus with hummus and crispy polenta, and crispy fried calamari with shrimp and zucchini. Pasta dishes range from pappardelle with truffle cream to small gnocchi with clams, mussels, shrimp, and octopus. Main plates include Mediterranean sea bass with olives and capers, braised lamb shank with creamy polenta, and grilled langostinos with arugula and tomato salad.
Desserts remain a favorite of the menu, with housemade pastries and gelato available at the counter or table-side.

A Romantic Space
The 110-seat indoor-outdoor restaurant was designed by Heather Ashton with Art Deco curves, pale pink tones, and Parisian touches. The new bar program reflects Milton’s style, self-described as “feminine, bold, and delicate,” pairing creative cocktails with a curated wine list.
Rose’s partnership with the Agape Foundation’s Seeds of Faith initiative continues to play a role, with produce sourced from its garden program supporting women in recovery. “Every ingredient tells a story of healing and dignity,” Milton said.
