The team behind Buena Vista Deli plans to open a second location of the beloved French eatery this summer. It will be located in North Miami at 750 NE 125th St., in the historic, landmark plaza that’s home to the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). However, because the name “Buena Vista” is trademarked, co-owner Cory Finot says the new place will be called Café Crème, a name he and partner Claude Postel have trademarked.

Finot says the café will partner with MOCA to throw events in the plaza they share. The museum hosts many parties, but there aren’t many options for those who want to grab a bite before or after events. “The mayor and commissioner have been very supportive, and they want there to be more events on the plaza so people can come together,” Finot says.
