Wynwood is about to get a wave of new and exciting restaurants this year — including two very viral ones.
Beloved Miami staple Sanguich and New York’s famed H&H Bagels have both secured ten-year leases at Wynwood Plaza. The announcement came from developers L&L Holding Company and Oak Row Equities. The massive one-million-square-foot campus held its grand opening this past October at 55 NW 29th St.
The development is meant to serve as a massive bridge between Wynwood, Midtown, and the Miami Design District. While the office tower is anchored by Amazon and the residential wing includes 509 apartments, these new food outposts are intended to serve the daily foot traffic of the “live-work-play” campus. They join the previously announced Luca Steak, an Italian steakhouse from chef Giorgio Rapicavoli.

H&H Bagels
Starting off with a bang is H&H Bagels, a New York City fixture built on a proprietary water bagel recipe that has been its calling card since the 1970s.
The brand’s new 1,400-square-foot space will be its second location in Miami. When it opened its first Miami location in Pinecrest on February 19, fans went wild. This location will focus on the classic bagel-and-schmear offering that established the brand’s cult status in the Northeast. This opening follows a broader trend of seemingly all New York City staples opening outposts in the Magic City.

Luca Steak
Miami’s steakhouse scene is about to get a serious upgrade as Giorgio Rapicavoli sets his sights on Wynwood. The acclaimed, Miami-born chef behind Eating House, Luca Osteria, and Mayfair Grill is gearing up to debut Luca Steak, a refined Italian steakhouse opening in 2026 at Wynwood Plaza.
Known for blending bold flavors with a distinctly local point of view, Rapicavoli’s latest concept will pair classic Italian influences with Miami energy, all set inside a sleek, design-forward space with expansive outdoor seating. Positioned as a culinary anchor for the massive mixed-use development, Luca Steak is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated openings to hit Wynwood in years.

Sanguich
Cuban sandwich shop Sanguich has evolved significantly since its beginnings as a 25-foot shipping container in Little Havana.
Owners Rosa and Daniel Figueredo built the brand’s reputation on a scratch-made approach to the Cubano. They famously brine their own ham for a week and spice-rub their lechon for 24 hours, making this the kind of place where the line snakes out the door.
This 1,350-square-foot location marks their first permanent outpost in Wynwood.

2026 Wynwood Rollout
H&H Bagels, Sanguich, and Luca Steak are part of a larger 5,650-square-foot retail slate. Other incoming tenants include Megaformer Studio, pet spa S-Paw, and Eternity Nail Salon. Construction on the retail interiors is expected to move quickly following the campus’s grand opening this past October.
Sanguich, H&H Bagels, and Luca Steak are all slated to debut sometime in late 2026. Once up and running, they will anchor the 29th Street corridor of the plaza.
