1500 Degrees sous chef Adrienne Grenier will compete on Food Network’s Chopped, hosted by Ted Allen.
Short Order was told that chef Grenier would be on the December 6th episode, entitled Can’t Catch Me I’m The Gingerbread Lobster, a special holiday edition of the show, which includes gingerbread houses, lobsters, and an “often-disparaged holiday classic in the dessert basket” (i.e. fruitcake).
In fact, chef Grenier will be seen on a later episode of Chopped, which will air on Tuesday, January 17th at 10 p.m. on Food Network.
We asked chef Grenier about her experience filming the show and if she
won. Like every other contestant, she couldn’t tell us the ending, but
Grenier did tell Short Order that “Chopped was one of the most
nervewracking things I have ever done, but also one of the most fun!
There was never a dull moment and competing in front of these great
chefs was truly exciting.”
