Winter Has Never Been Hotter

Friends of Dorothy, stop clicking your heels. Miami Beach is your home sweet home all week long, because Winter Party is back. If you missed the kickoff Wednesday, don’t fret. The festival is packed with official events through Monday. Whether it’s cultural events, wild nightlife, foodie gatherings, or just plain fun, Winter Party’s got your back. Happenings have taken over South Beach, from a special silent art auction Wednesday at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden (2000 Convention Center Dr.) to a totally insane finishing party at Kill Your Idol (222 Española Way), and plenty of troublemaking in between. If you’ve never been a part of “the world’s biggest and best-loved celebrations for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community,” well, why are you waiting? Tickets are on sale for various events from $10 to $600, but they’re going fast, so get to it now. Be yourself without any worries, and hey, make some new friends. Visit
