While some South Florida tattoo artists are busy inking celebrities, others are catering to a much different (and smaller) clientele: Labubu dolls.

The viral dolls (pronounced la-boo-boo) continue to be all the rage, with everyone from your 6-year-old niece to your 26-year-old coworker scrambling to get their hands on one of the toothy, mischievous-looking gremlins dangling from the purses of it-girls across the globe. The highly sought-after plushies are just the latest craze in a long wave of pop culture collectibles.

Now, thanks to one Miami tattoo artist, the collectibles can be one-of-a-kind.

Over the next few weeks, Jonathan Wuz Here (@jonathanwuzhere) will be tatting up Labubus at several pop-up events across South Florida. (For inquiring minds, he cautions that tattooing a "Lafufu" (AKA a faux Labubu) can be "risky" because they're made with different material from the original.)

Regardless, pricing is the same. The artist tells New Times that Labubu tattoos start at $15 and increase in price depending on the design. Piercings cost $10 each, and tooth gems cost $10 for the initial piece and $5 for each additional gem.

So, want a sick sleeve for your Labubu? A cheeky tramp stamp? Perhaps a matching tat?

Here, in chronological order, are pop-up events where you can get your Labubu (or Lafufu!) tattooed in South Florida:

Thorn Miami

The craft cocktail bar is celebrating its second anniversary, as one does, by offering custom tattoos, piercings, and tooth gems for your Labubu. "Your Labubu deserves a glow-up!" reads an Instagram post from the bar advertising the event. Playthings

The Olympia Heights sex shop is hosting a daylong Labubu tattoo pop-up. "Whether you're looking to get your Labubu inked or just want to browse, this event is perfect for all tattoo and Playthings enthusiasts," the shop writes in the event listing. Walk-ins are welcome. To schedule a Labubu tattoo appointment, call Playthings at 305-485-8404. Saturday, July 26, 2 to 6 p.m. at Playthings, 9250 SW 40th St., Miami; 305-485-8404; playthingsmiami.com.
