The Google Store doesn't just live inside your phone anymore. The tech company has announced it will widen its South Florida footprint with a new brick-and-mortar shop opening at Aventura Mall this fall. Located on the mall's lower level, it will be the brand's eighth Google Store in the world and the first-ever in Florida. The company already has stores in New York, California, Massachusetts, Illinois, and Texas.

The announcement comes just about a year after the opening of Google's office in Brickell.
Details on design and amenities are scant at the moment, but visitors can expect to shop for the latest Google gadgets, including Pixel phones, watches, and tablets; Nest devices; and Fitbit trackers. The store will also offer hands-on help and repairs. If programming at its sister stores is any indication, guests should also expect community activations — recent events at the company's other stores have included Pride month celebrations and wellness workshops. It's a model already implemented by local Apple stores, including the recently opened Apple Miami WorldCenter, which regularly hosts complimentary workshops and activations for customers.
"The Google Store experience will be a place to explore how AI is shaping the way we live, work, and create," Aventura Mall wrote in a recent blog announcing the opening. "Guests will be able to dive into next-gen features powered by Gemini, learn how Google’s technology supports productivity and creativity, and see firsthand how innovation feels in real life."
