In a tweet announcing the book last month, Harris said 107 Days traces "the shortest presidential campaign in modern history," a process she described as "intense, high stakes, and deeply personal for me and for so many of you."
Harris describes the book, out September 23, as "a behind-the-scenes account" of that brief but consequential campaign. "Since leaving office, I've spent a lot of time reflecting on those days — talking with my team, my family, my friends, and pulling my thoughts together," she told followers in a video accompanying the book announcement. "In essence, writing a journal that is this book."What the world saw on the campaign trail was only part of the story.
