With “The Art of Caring: A Look at Life Through Photography,” the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale presents in one place the best images taken by the top photographers. The blockbuster photo exhibit will include 200 pictures divided into themes such as disaster, aging, and love, and span 60 years. It will open with pictures handpicked by famed portraitist Annie Leibovitz, whose work appears alongside that of other famous photojournalists and contemporary masters: Alfred Eisenstaedt, W. Eugene Smith, and Margaret Bourke-White (the first woman to take pictures in a war zone). “The Art of Caring” opens Sunday and runs through September 25.

Sundays, noon; Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m. Starts: June 5. Continues through Sept. 24, 2011
