Whether you are a fan of fine art or fine wine, there is something to tantalize your senses at the appropriately named Red Bar Gallery. Dozens of works by local and international artists line the lusty red walls while cocktail-sipping patrons line the bar. To develop the burgeoning Brickell art scene, owners Danny Baez and Courtlandt McQuire founded Red Bar so locals could gather in a vodka-meets-Van Gogh hot spot. “We wanted to create an environment where you could come and meet people and get affiliated with art,” says Baez. Every second Wednesday the duo hosts an artist meet-and-greet from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Artists showcase new pieces, participate in a Q&A session, and mingle with the crowd. Art fans on a budget can go easy on their wallets with complimentary admission, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.

Second Wednesday of every month, 7:30-9:30 p.m., 2006
