What’s James Franco doing these days? Even if you’re not following the career of the prolific actor/writer/director/selfie-taker, you can be sure it’ll be entertaining. When he’s not parodying himself in his friends’ film projects (think This Is The End), he’s making art to display during Art Basel or mulling a Freaks and Geeks reunion. And let’s not forget the birthday party with the S&M-themed cake.

Whatever the dreamy weirdo’s up to, you know you wanna see it. His most recent film, Palo Alto, opens in Miami tomorrow. And we’re giving you free tickets.

Franco plays Mr. B, a soccer coach having an illicit flirtation with one of his students, April (Emma Roberts). The story follows April and her friends Emily, who spends her high school years sleeping around; Teddy, the sweet stoner with a thing for April; and Fred, a reckless kid whose actions throw the film into chaos.

New Times film critic Stephanie Zacharek writes, “The movie perfectly captures the vibe of late high school, in a way that’s both of its time and timeless.” If that sounds like something you’re into, enter our contest for two tickets to see the film for yourself. Here’s how to win:

  1. Email your full name (first and last) to cultist@miaminewtimes.com. Make sure the subject line says “Palo Alto Giveaway.”
  2. Cross your fingers — we’ll randomly select one lucky winner to receive two tickets to Friday night’s screening of Palo Alto at Regal South Beach Stadium 18.
  3. The deadline to enter is 11:59 p.m. today, Thursday, June 12.
  4. Winners will be notified on Friday morning.

Good luck!
