Independent Journalism in Miami Needs You

$10,000

You normally don’t want to associate strikes with football, but Lucky Strike Lanes has been putting its own positive twist on Monday Night Football get-togethers since this season began. So, if you’ve got some dollars riding on Aaron Rodgers getting disassembled by Ray Lewis’ and the vicious Ravens defense, head to the bowling venue at 1691 Michigan Ave., Miami Beach, and get ready for some football when Green Bay and Baltimore bring the battle to Lambeau at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN. Just think: When they show those shots of the cheerleaders, your mind and your ball can be in the gutter together. Drink specials include $5 to $7 for certain brand names and cocktails, and $18 buckets of beer. Food specials include chicken wings at $9 for a pound to $29 for four pounds.

Mondays, 8:30 p.m., 2009
