The Tiger Direct store at the Mall of the Americas is hosting a gaming tournament featuring smash Xbox One hit Titanfall this Saturday, June 21. The tournament runs from 2 to 6 p.m. and promises to be a showdown between some of South Florida’s best gamers.

The set-up for the tournament goes a little something like this: 16 three-person teams are going to duke it out in the game’s classic Attrition mode. Sign-ups for teams are already full, but organizers say if you show up with a three-person squad ready to go, you might just be able to squeak in there in case of no-shows.

$30,000

The top two teams will win Creative Labs gaming headsets and will vie for the grad prize of $1,500 cold hard cash. Second place gets $900, while third place gets $600. Not a bad deal.

Tiger Direct isn’t leaving the spectators out of the equation–they’re promising complementary energy drinks courtesy of BAWLS, t-shirts, and other fun goodies.

Can’t make it to the store but still want to catch all the fun? The tournament will be livestreamed on Twitch.tv/therealtigerdirect where you can watch in your pajamas while, presumably, playing Titanfall.
