YoungArts is on a roll. Straight off its success during Art Basel, the institution presents its next Outside the Box, which features selections from the Borscht Film Festival. YoungArts has close ties to Borscht — the film festival’s founders, Lucas Leyva and Andrew Hevia, are alums. The Borscht boys will set up what they call “the Multiverse,” a “DIY sketch of a theme park.” But this theme park is a far cry from Disney World. Instead of offering innocuous family fun, the Multiverse will feature virtual-reality games, bizarre takes on traditional carnival games, and three hours’ worth of film. The lineup includes shorts by budding filmmakers, documentaries about local institutions, and, most exciting, the premiere of Adventures of Christopher Bosh in the Multiverse! Part 2. This is your chance to find out why LeBron left Miami (at least according to the Borscht guys). The festivities begin at 7 p.m. at the YoungArts Campus (2100 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). Visit youngarts.org/outside-the-box or email otb@youngarts.org.
