You can add Miami Medical to the heap of South Florida-set shows that pretty much sucked and were quickly canceled. Others include Cane, Good Morning Miami, South Beach, Grapevine, Invasion, Karen Sisco, Odd Man Out, Wiseguy, and probably a few dozen other shows no one remembers.
CBS has put an end to the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced medical drama after airing only seven episodes. The Friday night show started out with decent ratings, coming in first the night it premiered, but has struggled to hold on to viewers ever since.
The show wasn’t actually shot here, so no skin off our backs. The show got the ax along with six other CBS shows, including, perhaps most surprisingly, The New Adventures of Old Christine (which may be picked up by ABC) and Ghost Whisperer.
