A wild and wet week seems to be in store for most of Florida. With Hurricane Milton predicted to make landfall around the Tampa Bay area in the wee hours of Thursday morning, the state is preparing for the worst. While South Florida may be spared the worst, nobody is taking any chances. While forecasting the path of a storm has gotten better, nobody knows what Mother Nature’s fury will have in store for the Sunshine State.
Naturally, that means many events across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the rest of South Florida are rethinking their plans. Below, New Times is keeping track of what has been postponed or canceled. The list will continue to be updated as cancellations are announced, so check back often.
