$7,500

You’ve heard it a thousand times: Going to the theatre (notice the spelling) is good for you. A cultural experience, expand your horizons, blah, blah, blah. Well, we can say without reservation that going to see Undershorts at the Arsht Center is not good for you. It will not expand your horizons, and its claim to the world of high culture is tenuous at best.

The short plays, produced by local outfit City Theatre, will instead invoke hysterical laughter, daring to cover material otherwise not seen within the hallowed halls of the Carnival Studio Theater. Expect adult content, foul language, and nudity when the curtain drops (pun!) at 10 p.m. In short, your kids are not invited to Undershorts, which means you will actually have a good time.

Fridays, 10 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 p.m. Starts: June 5. Continues through June 20, 2009
