Kids and their music these days. The sounds coming out of your radio are a combination of noise and whiny noise. Musicians need to stop whining and get back to storytelling. And a synthesizer or two wouldn’t hurt.
Take, for instance, the sounds of the ’80s — ah, a classic musical era. Now those were some funky-fun tunes. And thanks to the Ultimate ’80s Night at the Stage Miami (170 NE 38th St., Miami), you can turn off the radio drone and revel in some classic rock ’n’ roll.
The lineup features the “finest alternative ’80s experience” cover band, Mad World Orchestra, and the “pioneers of the ’80s freestyle movement in Miami,” Erotic Exotic.
