And now, some news so exciting you’ll want to jump in the air like a naked dude getting sprung from the trunk of a car: Ken Jeong has joined the cast of Pain and Gain.
Jeong is, of course, the actor who played manic gangster Leslie Chow in The Hangover and its sequel; he also has a recurring role on NBC’s Community.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jeong will play a character named Johnny Wu. It’ll be a reunion of sorts for Jeong and Bay, who also worked together on Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon.
This news, along with Rebel Wilson’s recent casting and this bizarrely fun (and NSFW) trailer for Mark Wahlberg’s upcoming movie Ted, might just be enough to break
through our tough outer layer of skepticism for all things Pain and Gain. Could this turn out to be an unironically enjoyable film after all?
If they let him dance, the answer is yes.
