Cocaine Cowboys, the acclaimed documentary chronicling the Miami drug trade during the ’70s and ’80s produced by local studio Rakontur, got a shout out in the most unlikely of places this month: Live with Regis & Kelly.
Kelly and her husband caught the documentary on Showtime, and said it was a “remarkable documentary, very interesting.”
The doc is still screening on Showtime channels (next airdate: Tomorrow at 7pm). Ms. Ripa and other fans might also be interested in the sequel, recently released on DVD.
