Country music! Hooters! Line Dancing! BBQ! If this is all you need to hear, read no more and head over to the South Dade Food and Country Festival at the Harris Field Pavilion (1034 NE 8th St., Homestead) on Saturday. If you require a bit more fleshing out, here’s the lowdown for the ho-down:
Florida Rock Stars presents the South Dade Food and Country Festival, a showcase of the best, well, food and country Florida has to offer. The headlining act is Bradenton-born One Night Rodeo, who are currently on tour doing the Hooters “Summer on Ice” Concert Series. Also hitting the stage will be West Palm Beach-based Cecilia Lauren and the Ocoee River Band, and Homestead’s very own angel-faced tweenie crooner Jade Sanders. As for food, you can expect all the usual suspects, including local restaurants like Joe’s Seafood Stone Crabs and Big Pig BBQ.

Sat., Oct. 27, 4-10 p.m., 2012
