Cadavers, maggots, flesh-eating beetles… are you still reading? Then you might have a stomach strong enough to enjoy the nauseating yet fascinating “CSI: Crime Scene Insects” exhibit at the Miami Science Museum. At a crime scene, the presence of certain creepy-crawlies can help investigators ascertain a death’s timing, location, and cause, and whether toxins were involved. And you can come to your own conclusions about who dunnit by examining the exhibit’s mock crime scenes, live insects, and model cadavers in various (and horrifying) states of decomposition. Visit this Tuesday to see nature and forensics come together in the name of justice. But you might want to leave impressionable youngsters and squeamish grownups at home. The exhibit runs through January and is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets cost $15.30 for Miami-Dade County residents.
