As a quote-unquote adult, you aren’t supposed to like laser shows. Your aesthetic sensibility should be much too evolved for some ironic stoner trip through outdated sci-fi atmospherics and a classic rock soundtrack. Yet this Friday, you will stuff your mouth with mushrooms, fill a water bladder with home-brewed hooch, and head to the Miami Science Museum for another ball-tripping sesh at that freakout fest otherwise known as Fabulous First Friday. Expect Pink Floyd (Wish You Were Here and Echoes), the Doors, Radiohead, and lasers, lasers, lasers. Huh? Say what? You hate Radiohead? That doesn’t matter. The colors are very pretty, and you’re zipping at superspeed through the cosmos. It’s almost like being a kid again — a really high kid.
