Jessica Holter is unabashed in her sexual prowess. She introduces herself to audiences with the following statement: “I won’t lie. I don’t lie. I give good head.” To many, Holter is better known as the Head Doctor, the founder of the erotic spoken word cabaret troupe called the Punany Poets. The poetry performer made big waves on HBO’s Real Sex. Her raunchy words were gospel to Sachrista Alexander, a 24-year-old single mother with a full time job who is also beginning her own business. Alexander was looking for the perfect event with which to launch her adult product line, Salacious Things. Like the Punany Poets, Alexander wanted to inspire males and females to higher heights of intimacy, while providing erotic and educational stimulation. “This event will help to bring back sensuality. It will take people from fucking back to lovemaking,” she explains. Tonight’s cabaret experience will be an arousing one, complete with steamy rhymes, raffles for items from the Salacious Things line, and a lingerie show. The grown and sexy fun begins at 10:00 at Legends Café, 2029 Harrison St., Hollywood. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, $50 for couples, and $100 for VIP seating. Call 786-273-2962, or e-mail salacious@bellsouth.net.
