Miami loves John Digweed. And we are pretty sure the feeling is mutual. Proof: Just this past Miami Music Week, he headlined at Cameo, the annual Sunset Cruise, and the Vagabond — the 14th Street nightclub he co-owns. But even after March’s full serving of the Magic City, the British legend is back for more. Set will be Digweed’s playground for this Miami redux party. Often described as “a DJ’s DJ,” he’s a breed of superstar turntablist that existed before acts such as Tiësto, Deadmau5, and Swedish House Mafia crossed over into the mainstream. Will Digweed ever join them on the other side? Probably not, but that’s a good thing. Instead of paying $200 to see this master at work, Set’s admission is a bargain at $25. A tony setting and house music just might make the hung-over Monday-morning commute worth it.
