Remember when the Miami Dolphins were the laughingstock of the NFL? When opposing teams penciled them in as an automatic win every season, and it was excruciatingly embarrassing to admit you were a fan? Yeah, neither do we. Well, maybe a little. But knowing the Fins are entering this season as defending AFC East champions makes those memories much more distant.

Miami’s rebirth came thanks in large part to a little formation called the Wildcat. The Fins unleashed it onto the unsuspecting NFL in the second week and, with it, proceeded to hand out cock-punches to the opposition like teriyaki chicken samples at the food court. The result: a new era of Dolphins football.

The Fins will host the Carolina Panthers this Saturday at LandShark Stadium for a preseason matchup, and the Wildcat is sure to make an appearance. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m., and tickets start at $41.
