A gift of extravagant jewels has always been the best way for one man to tell another how he feels. So when Florida Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria presented Hanley Ramirez with a commemorative “.342” (the All Star shortstop’s 2009 league-leading batting average) pendant encrusted with nearly 400 diamonds, the boss was basically saying, “Han-Ram, you are my man. You are my one and only.”

The first 5,000 fans to win at Billy Bingo will get a replica of Han-Ram’s new hardware. The bad news: It’ll be plastic and diamond-free. Apparently, Loria doesn’t love you like he loves Hanley.
