Clifton Childree’s latest show at Locust Projects got a bit of unwanted attention this week according to Artlurker.

A distress signal from the gallery’s alarm alerted police, and once inside were startled by a mannequin that is part of the exhibit. Police asked it to lay down, which, uh, it didn’t and shot at it.

By all accounts the mannequin was spared any harm, and wasn’t phased by the attack. But if you’re a regular part of Clifton Cildree’s world, you’re probably not phased by much.
