Leonid “Leo” Radvinsky, the owner of adult-content platform OnlyFans, has died of cancer, the company said in a statement on Monday. He was 43.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky,” an OnlyFans spokesperson said in a statement to Variety. “Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family has requested privacy at this difficult time.”

Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur who lived in South Florida, acquired Fenix International Limited, the parent company of OnlyFans, in 2018. He served as its director and majority shareholder while also running Leo, a venture capital fund he founded in 2009 that mainly invests in technology companies.

Radvinsky had an estimated net worth of $4.7 billion at the time of his death, according to Forbes.

Born in Ukraine, Radvinsky founded the South Florida-based Cybertania, which, according to Forbes, operated “websites promising ‘hacked’ passwords to porn sites” in 1999 while he was a student at Northwestern University. In 2004, he launched the adult streaming website MyFreeCams in what the Wall Street Journal described as “the early days of what became known as ‘camming,’ in which models blend casual chats with sexually explicit live content that their users pay for online.”

In 2018, Radvinsky bought a 75 percent stake in OnlyFans’ parent company from its British founders, Tim Stokely and his father Guy Stokely.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Radvinsky moved to South Florida around 2021 and purchased a 10,000-square-foot mansion previously owned by tennis star Chris Evert. By 2023, Radvinsky had reportedly started living in a $20 million South Florida apartment. He was reportedly still living in Florida as of 2025.

Based in London, OnlyFans is a paid subscription service known for its popularity with pornographers, although it also hosts other content creators like athletes, musicians, and comedians. Some of the top creators on the platform have included Cardi B, Iggy Azalea, Bella Thorne, Bhad Bhabie, and Mia Khalifa.

OnlyFans has been immensely popular for both creators and consumers in South Florida.

A 2023 study crowned Miami the city with the most OnlyFans creators per capita, with 1,110 accounts per 100,000 residents. And last year, an analysis by OnlyGuider, a platform for searching OnlyFans creators, ranked Miami among the global cities that spend the most money on OnlyFans.
