The h.wood Group, the Los Angeles-based hospitality company known for spots like Delilah and the Nice Guy, is expanding its footprint into South Florida. This time, however, the group is skipping an expansion in Miami, as it did with Delilah Miami, in favor of Fort Lauderdale.
Naftali Group, the developer behind the upcoming Viceroy Residences Fort Lauderdale, announced a partnership with the LA-based hospitality brand to open a massive restaurant and private members club inside the new Flagler Village tower.
The project marks a shift for the neighborhood, bringing a high-end, membership-based nightlife concept to an area best known for its breweries and art walks.

A Public Restaurant and a Members Club in Flagler Village
The new venue will occupy more than 15,000 square feet within the 45-story condominium tower. Designed by the Los Angeles interior design firm Built Inc., the space is divided into two concepts: a signature restaurant open to the public and a private members club reserved for approved applicants and building residents.
While the specific culinary details haven’t been released, the team said in the announcement that the public restaurant will feature craft cocktails, live music, and a dining room designed to serve as a social hub for the neighborhood.
The second half of the project is for members only. The private club will operate separately from the main restaurant, offering its own lounge areas and a different menu available only to those on the list. According to the announcement, the club will focus on “curated cultural and social programming,” though specifics on what that exactly means remain under wraps.
There is, of course, a shortcut to gaining entry. Owners at Viceroy Residences Fort Lauderdale will bypass the application process entirely. Residents receive immediate membership to the private club as well as access to “the h.wood Rolodex,” the group’s hospitality program.

Betting on Fort Lauderdale
“Expanding our footprint into South Florida is a top priority for the h.wood Group,” says John Terzian, co-founder of The h.wood Group.
The partnership spotlights a big push by developers to make downtown Fort Lauderdale a luxury destination comparable to its southern or northern neighbors. Brian Toll, co-founder and co-president of the h.wood Group, stated the city is “quickly becoming a global destination” and that the goal is to capture the energy of the developing Flagler Village neighborhood.
The venue will be housed within Viceroy Residences Fort Lauderdale, the only hospitality-branded residential development in the downtown area.
