Bibliophiles rejoice! The Miami Book Fair returns to Miami-Dade College’s Wolfson Campus this week with an array of programming, including author talks with celebrated writers, the family-friendly Children’s Alley at the Street Fair, and the third-annual Next Page fundraising dinner. 

Now in its 42nd year, the Miami Book Fair is one of the largest and most prestigious literary events in the country, offering events for booklovers of every stripe and attracting visiting authors from all over. Here, in chronological order by category, are some of this year’s highlights.

Bill McKibben

The acclaimed environmentalist sounds a call to harness the power of the sun and rewrite our scientific, economic, and political future with Here Comes the Sun: A Last Chance for Climate and a Fresh Chance for Civilization. 4:30 p.m. Sunday, November 16, at 300 NE Second Ave., Miami.
