A masseuse died at Chris Bosh’s Miami Beach home on Sunday morning, according to Local 10. The cause of death has not yet been released, but according to a Miami Beach Police report, that woman had battled cancer less than a year before.

The woman arrived at the home just before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, and seemed fine. Suddenly, however, she lost consciousness. She was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead.

Bosh was likely not at the home, as he traveled with the Heat to Boston. However his wife, Adrienne Bosh, sent out a Twitter message earlier this morning.

“A beautiful soul was lost tonight. Never take the here and now for granted. Life can be so frail,” she wrote.

“1 min ur here,The next ur not.Today I Kissed my loved ones a few more times,I held them a little bit tighter, hugged them for a little longer,” she wrote in a follow-up Tweet.

The woman’s identity has not been released.

It’s been a roller coaster of a postseason for Bosh both on and off the court.

His first son, Jackson Bosh, was born in early May in the midst of the Heat’s playoff bout with the New York Knicks.

Then in Game 1 of the series against Indiana, Bosh strained an abdominal muscle and has been off the court since.

A return may be imminent, and it will be a game time decision as to whether or not the third piece of the Heat’s Big Three plays tonight.
