According to the Miami Police Department, an arrest has been made in the armed robbery of Joey’s in Wynwood.

The robbery occurred around 8 p.m. August 30 during a rainy dinner service.Three men were said to have stormed into the restaurant, demanding cell phones from patrons and cash from the registers.

According to Miami police, 19-year-old Darryl Sky Manning was arrested on armed robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, and burglary of an occupied structure charges. Two other men involved in Monday’s robbery remain on the loose.

A statement was released yesterday by the Miami Police Department’s detective Keandra Simmons. In it, the three robbery suspects were listed

as:

Three black males all wearing bandanas, 17-20 years old thin built:

1. 6’2″, 180 lbs, black hoodie, black pants, sandals and white socks

2. 5’8″, 140 lbs, grey hoodie, dark pants

3. 5″8″, 140 lbs, white fitted hoodie, red basketball shorts

Police

are still asking anyone with knowledge or leads regarding this robbery
