Prince Royce is making all sort of moves lately. The Bronx-born Latin pop star cracked the mainstream last year with his first English-language album. He also starred in Fox’s live Easter special The Passion this past weekend — and has a role in the upcoming Hulu series East Los High.
Now he’s making another move. The 18-time Billboard Latin Music Award winner has put his Coral Gables pad on the market for $3.75 million. That’s up from the $2.3 million he paid for the place in 2013.
The 5,212-square-foot home features four bedrooms, a pool, a billiard room, and a duel-level master closet. But the real crown jewel is the recording studio.
The home also has a pedigree. It was originally designed by Hilario Candela, the architect behind Miami Marine Stadium (the guy apparently loves triangles). It was redesigned in the early 2000s by Victor Vazquez. According to the listing, it was also the first home in Coral Gables allowed to have fencing made of ipe wood (a dark cherrywood that was once frowned upon by Coral Gables’ notoriously tight zoning and planning laws).

Someone has a thing for dramatic purple statement chairs. Also, blue kitchens. Here’s where we should write something like “A bedroom fit for a Prince!” But then we’d end up hating ourselves. Here’s the studio. The equipment probably isn’t included in the sale price, but converting the space into a screening room or, with that wallpaper, a nightclub wouldn’t be difficult. For just $3.75 million, you could own the pool where Royce completed the #ACLIceBucketChallenge! What a dream!
