Mayer made the promise while playing a recent gig in Cleveland. While wearing a Cavs jersey, he said he’d wear it again in Miami:

Jeez, John Mayer is an idiot. First of all, he does not even have a show scheduled anytime soon in Miami. The September 11 concert he speaks of is at the Cruzan Amphitheater in West Palm Beach. Which, if traffic is kind to you, is about an hour and 15 minutes from American Airlines Arena.

True, it is Heat territory in West Palm Beach, but we don’t think many Heat fans will be in attendance. Why? Because pussies don’t like sports, and only pussies listen to John Mayer. No wonder he played to a packed crowd in Cleveland.
