Dolphins Cornerback Brice McCain Made Best Play of Opening NFL Sunday

Brice McCain is a Miami Dolphin. You may or may not have known that before this past Sunday, but you’re definitely aware of that fact now. With the Washington Redskins driving down the field late, looking for the game-tying touchdown, McCain made one of the more impossible plays you will see in the NFL this year, acrobatically intercepting a third-down pass near the end zone and ending Washington’s drive.

The Dolphins would go on to run out the clock and win their first game of the season 17-10. The game itself wasn’t particularly memorable, but McCain’s individual effort alone is sure to grab plenty of loops on Vine and a most definite spot on all the top-plays segments. 

McCain made a supersick move on the ball without creating pass interference, slipped under the Washington receiver, and somehow caught the ball before sliding out of bounds and high-stepping along the sideline in celebration.

The Fins overall looked like refried crap for most of the day, but luckily Washington sat across the field from them — and they are super-garbage-water-crappy. Miami fans will take it, though. A record of 1-0 is a 1-0 to start the year; they won’t be using style points as a playoff tiebreaker later, so it’s all good.

Tannehill was bad, O-Line was Bad, Defense was meh for a lot…wasn't pretty, but was methodical and enough for a win. And result necessary.
