While the Metromover suffered a little setback last month with a two-car collision that left 18 commuters with minor injuries, the automated and elevated transit system can boast many, many years of service without incident. And tonight, as an expression of love for our beloved robotic carriages, the Metromover will inadvertently host an acoustic jam by our equally beloved Bulletproof Tiger and Expressways! Meet up with the bands at the Government Center platform at 7:30 p.m. sharp because the show will start promptly at 8 p.m.
Is this a new idea? Certainly not, but it is a sweet one for people who want to hear some cool tunes in a refreshing and air-conditioned venue! Will the unaware passenger think it’s grand? Who knows and who cares! It’ll surely beat any kind of piped-in muzak they just suffered in the elevators of their corporate gigs!
