Sorry Miami, there are no cannabis bars here, but you can still “get stoned” in a Miami bar. The Stone Brewery tap takeover happy hour will be held at Cervezas.
Starting a 7 p.m. and rolling all night, four of the taps at Cervezas will be commandeered by Stone Brewing Company from Escondido, California. Kegs of Ruination IPA, Cali-Belgique IPA, Smoked Porter (with vanilla beans) and Victory Saison du Buff will be tapped and ready for plunder.
The pours are 12 ounces and range in price from $6 for Ruination, $8 for Cali-Belgique, $10 for Smoked Porter and Victory Saison du Buff, and $16 for 25 ounce bottles of Double Bastard Ale, Vertical Epic Ale, Self-Righteous Ale and Old Guardian Barley Wine from 2008 to 2012.
If you can’t afford a bag, but have enough for a pint–or two, then make your way to Cervezas. How much will be available? Plenty, says owner Carlos Duran.
Munchies will inevitably follow. No worries, there will also be Stone beer truffles by Lush Confections. Try a Ruination IPA sweet and sour grapefruit truffle or Smoked Porter chocolate-covered smoked and candied bacon truffle.
This is Cerveza’s second 4/20 Stone Brewery takeover, clearly something good is happening here. Don’t want to get stoned? Cervezas also has over 400 bottled beers and 16 rotating taps.
