New Times’ Fourth Annual Iron Fork is this Thursday at Ice Palace Film Studios in downtown Miami from 7 to 10 p.m., so we gotta ask — are you prepared for the awesomeness of watching chefs do battle in head-to-head competition?
Have you trained to get your stamina up so that you can eat from over 50 Miami-area restaurants and drink from an endless supply of heavenly libations?
Did you buy your tickets?
Well, get on it because you’ve only got about 48 hours to go … and the clock is ticking.
Tickets for Iron Fork are $35 for general admission if you purchase them
in advance; $45 at the door. $65 gets you partying like a VIP, with
an extra hour of food and drinks, starting at 6 p.m. A portion of all
ticket sales benefit The United Way of Miami-Dade.
The
event, which is curated by celebrity chef Allen Susser, features the
Chef Challenge Finals, where returning champion Carlos Torres of De Rodriguez Restaurant Group will battle Timon Balloo of Sugarcane Raw Bar and Grill.
All
tickets include the chef competition, food sampling, open bar and live
entertainment featuring Big Poppa E & the E Band, Jon Saxx, and DJ
Mike Tee.
