New Times goes to the movies! Between rumors that Michael Bay might be producing a film based on a Miami New Times story, and Outrage, both of your fine, fine South Florida New Times papers are serious movie stars this week.

Our Broward/Palm Beach columnist Bob Norman confirmed today what we expected: Yes, much of the speculation that Charlie Crist is a homosexual featured in the documentary Outrage is based on Norman’s reporting. And the columnist actually appears in the movie.

Outrage, which premiered last night at the Tribeca Film Festival, is directed by Kirby Dick, the same guy who helmed This Film Is Not Yet Rated.

But in a blog post, Norman wants to remind you there’s no undeniable evidence Crist is gay. No smoking cock, as it were. Just some circumstantial evidence. But if one day there actually is any undeniable, circumcised evidence (sorry), we’re sure Norman will be the first to report it.
