Books & Books is bringing its cafe and book shop together with a Readers Circle Lunch on Thursday, August 11 at noon at the Coral Gables location.
Entitled:
What Are You Reading?, the lunch will give book lovers a chance to
share their favorite (or least favorite) stories over a meal.
Books & Books’ Cristina Nosti said the lunch is a great way for readers to get to know each other. She also said it has the potential to grow into a book club. “Come with a favorite book or story to share or just come to eat and listen. It’s very relaxed,” Nosti said.
The cost is $25, which includes a buffet and some free
advanced copies of books. We’ve also been teased with the promise of a
few surprise guests. Since Books & Books has every local author
(including chef authors Michael Schwartz and Allen Susser) on speed dial, who knows who may show up to the
table?
The Readers Circle Lunch will be held at Books &
