Sur La Table, purveyor of specialty kitchenware to foodies across the country, is opening its doors tomorrow at Aventura Mall. The 5,100-square-foot space will be bursting at the seams with everything from roasting pans, immersion blenders, cookbooks, and utensils.
Seattle-based Sur La Table opened its first store in 1972, selling kitchenware from France.; Today the 70+ stores sell items including a green immersion blender ($29.95), full-on Raclette party grill ($99.95) to a 3-D snowman spatula ($8.95). We expect the store to be bursting at the seams with haute couture looking for haute cuisine. Be ready to spend some cash — the colorful treats don’t come cheap.
