Tagliatelle to Debut South of Fifth Street Next Month

Details are sketchy, but Short Order has learned that Tagliatelle, a new Italian restaurant, is opening at the end of next month at the bottom of the former Prive space. Owner Daniel Mineo has several eateries in Monte Carlo, but decided to branch out to South Beach when his son started studying here. The Collins Avenue Italian restaurant will emphasize seafood, with dishes like pasta with lobster.

And, yes, South Beach needs another Italian restaurant like Jon Gosselin needs more kids.
