If there’s one thing we know about Florida grandmothers, it’s do not steal their wine. They will confront you about it. You do not take Grandma’s special relaxing juice.
So when 59-year-old Sue Wilson returned to her Deltona home Tuesday and noticed two bottles of wine empty, she confronted her seemingly drunk 19-year-old grandson, Blake Hale.
If there’s one thing we know about drunk 19-year-old Floridians, it’s that they usually do not act like shining examples of humanity.
According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Hale became defensive about the accusation and began yelling and slinging obscenities at his grandma. Things turned physical, and when Wilson was trying to walk out of the front door, Hale bit her shoulder.
Hale’s 70-year-old grandfather also got involved, and Hale punched him. The assault resulted in a minor bloody nose.
Wilson called police to report that her grandson had bitten her. When they arrived, they confirmed that Wilson did indeed have bite marks on her shoulder.
Hale was arrested on battery charges.
