If you’re a Sugar Rush fan, you know the you should get to the truck early to avoid a sell-out of your favorite cupcake flavors (this has happened to us before). After all, whether you choose a taco and your friend opts for a pork bun at the roundup, chances are there’s one thing you’re both going to agree on – dessert.

Sugar Rush Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Diaz-Perez knows our need for the sweeter things in life, so she’s announced the debut of Sugar Rush #2. This makes the third endeavor for the entrepreneur, who also has Sugar Rush, Miami’s first dessert truck and Sweetness Bakeshop in East Kendall.

“We’re thrilled to bring the joy of Sugar Rush to more people in our community than ever before,” said Diaz-Perez who loves her treats so much she has a cupcake tattoo.

Sugar Rush #2 will feature an expanded menu including new made-to-order pies, along with additional flavors of cupcakes, shakes, and waffles. SR2 will roll onto the streets sometime this October. Stay tuned for details.
