Two men pretending to be cops ransacked a Little Havana home this morning and tied up a woman in front of her two children. The incident occurred in the 300 block of SW 12th Avenue shortly before 11:30 a.m.
Inside the home were the woman, her 11- and 13-year-old children, and a 19-year-old woman. According to Local 10, the men barged in and pretended to be police officers. One man carried a gun and a badge, and wore a black T-shirt with “Police” written on it.
The men then tied up the mother. They ransacked the home and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The two men are believed to be in there 50s, and the man in the police shirt was described as having white hair.
