We’re really surprised it took this long for The Daily Show to sink its teeth into Florida Gov. Rick Scott. There’s certainly ample material. The guy’s political career is like a bad satire that somehow became real. Last night, Scott got the ire of Jon Stewart in a roundup of the nation’s new batch of Republican governors.
Apparently, Rick Scott is our psychotic stepdad, and Stewart takes particular aim at his desire to drug test state workers. Stewart then moves on to other Republican Govs, some of whom make as feel glad that we only have to deal with Scott. Though, honestly, we’re kind of sick of our new stepdad. We kind of wish Uncle Charlie and his funny friend Steve would move back in.
