Sean Kingston, the Miami-born hip-hop crooner who once graced our cover, was in a serious jet ski accident off of Miami Beach today, according to multiple reports. The injuries were so severe that Kingston is reportedly being treated in a nearby trauma unit.
According to Local10.com, Kingston was on the jet ski with a female passenger this evening at about 6 p.m. when he crashed into the bridge that connects Palm Island to the MacArthur Causeway.
Kingston and the female passenger were rescued by a nearby boater, before the City of Miami Fire Rescue rushed the pair to the hospital. Kingston is believed to be in critical condition.
“Sean Kingston was in an accident today,” his rep tells TMZ. “No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes.”
